I bought these because they were rated as the best, with a remote control. There is another brand that's rated higher, but, you have to use an app on your phone, and some places I hunt don't have cell service.So far, I haven't tried them much. I did try them, while watching TV, and they really didn't seem to get very warm, and even though I've been told I have "chicken legs" they fit tighter on my calves than any compression socks I've ever worn. I did wear them out pheasant hunting once. I don't remember exactly what the temperature was, but, it was cold enough that I normally would have worn my big boots, with 2000 grams of thinsulate, and wool socks. I decided to try them with my un-insulated upland ,bird hunting boots, and they actually kept my feet warm. The real test will be in November, during deer hunting. I just can't imagine anyone buying heated socks that don't have a remote control.It’s the first time I trying the electronic heated socks. I got two pairs of them from different manufacturers for ski this year. Another pair was defective so I returned. This pair works well so far.This pair has a remote control which is convenient but easy to get lost so need to be careful.One full charge of the batteries can last about 3 hours with the high heat level. We usually go ski for whole day. A couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon so I need two pairs.This pair is thick and soft. I got size S which is just right for me size 6 shoes. I think one size bigger might be a better fit. This is a bit tie but I think it’s okay since I want to wear a snow pants on the top of the socks.They warm up quickly and very comfortable. I think it worth the money if they can last the whole ski season about 4 months.My husband ordered the first pair in his size, but they were too short and his boots turned them on by themselves after he didn't need the heat for deer hunting. Then, he ordered a second pair, and the wire was unattached, so one did not work. The refund process was very quick, and I am sure the actual heated sock are great if the size is right and there are no unattached wires. With limited hunting weeks left, my husband decided to try a different brand. Due to diabetes my husbands circulation is week, so he really does need quality heated socks...hope we find some soon.These socks are great and I love the remote, but my only dislike with these socks is the button on the sock themselves, it doesn’t take much pressure at all to accidentally turn on one of the socks with that button, I work out in the elements on different types of vehicles and heavy equipment, and I climb in and out of them a lot during my install process, and on many occasions I’ve bumped one of the socks against the equipment I’ve been working on and the sock I bumped turns on, which gets kind of frustrating when I’m climbing in and out of a vehicle multiple times, I really don’t think the buttons on the socks are needed, the remote works just fine, and with out the buttons it would completely eliminate turning them on by accident.So warm. I used them all season for skiiing. Would be 5 stars except they’re hard to clean and sometimes you can feel the wires with your feet. Other than that I absolutely love them.I like that these socks are completely wireless. I have icy cold feet all the time and usually have to burrito up in a blanket to get my feet and body warm. Well let me tell you, I put these socks on High and I didn't need a blanket at all. My feet were toasty!The only downside is that these socks are really tall and super tight around the ankle. I can't pull them up at all. I think they are supposed to go up about half calf, but for me... nope. I even read the other reviews before purchasing and got the large to hopefully avoid the tightness. I wear a 10 women's and they fit my feet perfectly, but not my leg. I think they would benefit from being a little shorter.Still worth the purchase!I tried these socks on a very cold day snowmobiling -12 (F). They heat up quickly and I was able to run on low when i used them. I really like how you can turn on and off with the little remote. When my toes got cold i turned them on, then in about 10 minutes, when they were warm, i could easily turn them off and save the battery. I did this off/on all day and the batteries where still more then 1/2 full. I did have one battery that did not last as long, and contacted customer service who quickly sent me a replacement. Very happy with this product and the customer service. Highly recommended!These socks are amazing! You can feel the warmth within seconds. I always turn them on high to start and they do not get too hot, but comfortable.I wear women's size 7.5-8 shoes. I bought the medium size socks, they fit well on my feet and legs. They are a bit tight at the top, not an uncomfortable tight but a little tighter than one would expect from socks. I assume the tightness is to keep the socks from slipping down with the weight of the batteries - which they haven't slipped at all!Battery life - one day I wore them for 3 hours on high and they started lowering the temp on their own. But I have also worn them for 4-5 hours on high and turned them off myself. If I were to plan a hike for longer than 4-5 hours I would likely bring another set of batteries or run on lower temperatures.4 Sterne für die Socken, einen Stern Abzug weil sie sich etwas schwierig anziehen lassen am Bund zur Wade.Heizleistung ist gut.
