Mephisto Women's Comfortable Walking Sneakers - Lightweight Casual Shoes for Travel, Work & Everyday Wear

I have two pairs of size 38 or US 8 Lasers, which is the style Rebecca Perf evolved from. Looks just like the Laser but fits at least half size smaller. I am not sure going up a half size would be enough. Otherwise, once you get your fit, this is just the best shoe ever. It will have room for a high instep, roomy toe box, narrow heel. Quality suede.I have been wearing Mephistos for years. The first time I slipped my feet into a pair they felt like I had been wearing them for years. Fabulous for those of us with orthopedic issues.This is the first time I have spent this much money on shoes but they are worth every penny. I have been having trouble with my achillies tendon, plantar fasciitis and a bone spur on my heel. For months, most all shoes were uncomfortable to wear for even a few hours. The Podiatrist recommended a variety of brands but I have been familiar with Mephistos for many years. I ordered these on Amazon, (first time on-line shoe order) and they fit as if they were hand made for me. I love the red as it seems less 'orthotic'. They are now the most comfortable shoe that I own and am considering a second pair!I wear them for comfort walking.I wear them dailyWhen a walking shoe works well for me, I soon buy another pair. I recently retired pair # 1 of this style, and as soon as I started using pair # 2, I bought this pair # 3.I walk several miles a day in these shoes. FWIW I don't have them resoled the way I would other "sturdier" styles from Mephisto.The shoe is quite cute, and supportive ...but I’m finding it a bit tight and painful to the bottom of my feet. It needs to be broken in slowly, I suppose. I also think I need s soft inner sole or liner. I can’t yet wear them for a whole day.Good support, good looking, excellent walking shoe. Someone stopped me to ask what brand they were—no name on the outside, another plus!however, I usually take a size 7 it was too small I had to reorder for a size 7.5. Return was very easy. The second pair came within a few days after.
